The Patients Friends Committee in the Eastern Province won first place in the "Human First" award for the non-profit sector, which was launched by the branch of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development in the Eastern Province, coinciding with the International Day of Volunteer Work.

Commenting on this, the Chairman of the Committee (Director General of Health Affairs in the Eastern Region), Dr. Ibrahim bin Abdul Karim Al-Arifi, said that granting this award to the Patients Friends Committee is a culmination of the voluntary charitable humanitarian work implemented by the Committee throughout its history, as it carried the banner of planting a smile on the lips of patients, and providing Everything that would end their suffering and return them to normal life to play their role in public life, whether with financial or in-kind support or annual visits, to seek reward and reward from God in the hereafter and to contribute to the development of large and enormous health services provided by public facilities and centers to citizens and residents, embodying what The rational government's provision of health care has become an example of excellence and creativity.
He stated that obtaining this award from the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development is in itself support and motivation for all committees, associations,, and charitable institutions to provide more services, and to search for the best ways for all our facilities - especially health ones - to have a high level of excellence and quality, which is our religion.
